When are my rates due?

Last modified: September 29, 2009 - 1:52 AM

The full amount of your annual land rates is due for payment on August 31 of each year.  However, Council allows ratepayers to pay this yearly amount by quarterly instalments as shown on your rates notice.

Ratepayers who choose to pay by quarterly instalments are advised that instalments are due as follows:-

1st Quarter Instalment
August 31

2nd Quarter Instalment
November 30

3rd Quarter Instalment
February 28

4th Quarter Instalment
May 31

Council also accepts weekly, fortnightly and monthly payments.  If payments are not made by the due date, the ratepayer can enter a periodical payment arrangement with Council to finalise the amount owing.
